Does anyone but me think that 10 hrs a day of steroid talk on TV is ridiculous? These reporters are trying to get to the “bottom” of who was doing steroids and who wasn’t. It’s completely impossible to know who was doing it and who wasn’t over a course of 15-20 years. And it’s completely unfair to crucify those who you know did it when you cannot possibly find out all the people who were using.
Everyone needs to just chalk it up and let it go. The whole truth will NEVER be found so why search for parts. Only a small percentage of players who used get blamed and kept out of the hall of fame where they belong. The playing field was level. The majority were using so it was fair. Records should stand, memories of greatness will remain, nothing should be erased.
I hope we learn from this that what the Bible says is true…what is done in the dark will come to light. And that a blind eye should never be turned to wrong doing while its going on.

As much as I love ESPN, they are part of the problem. We are over saturated with media information on these subjects. I miss the days of opening up my newspaper in the morning and reading the sports page 1st. A writer might uncover a story like the steroid use, but you wouldn’t have to see it every hour on the bottom line and then more of it in some embarrassing hour long apology interview. Then the the all sainthood reporters will comment on whether or not he was sincere and should be forgivin. As much as I disagree with steroid use in sports, I’m sick of the over reporting and the basic attack mode ESPN and all the other TV media competing with them have gotten into. For me that’s ruining baseball more than the actual steroid use now.
It’s uncovered, now let the powers in Baseball deal with it and lets move on.
Just think how Babe Ruth would be viewed in this media circus these days being the partier he was in his day. He probably would have been forced out of baseball before he had a chance to set a record.
Go Ducks!
